Who we are
CalculationTime was founded by William Turner in New South Wales, Australia, and launched in 2026. It is an independent site: there is no investor, no account to create and no charge to use the calculators.
The clock at the heart of the site, the signature clockface with the Southern Cross as its fourth hand, is a design by Sidereal Clocks, the family business William also founded.
How the calculators are made
Every calculator shows its formula, the values it used and the assumptions behind the answer, so a result can be checked rather than simply trusted. Where a government, standards, health, finance or astronomy source affects the answer, it is cited on that page.
Every calculator is checked against worked examples and automated audits before it goes live. Showing the working is what keeps that honest: if a number looks wrong, you can see exactly why, and we want to hear about it.
