Assumptions

Prompts rotate from fixed folklore categories using day-of-year, weekday and climate lens. They are not generated from live weather data.

Limits

Folklore can be interesting observation practice. Real safety, travel, farming, boating and event choices need official forecasts and warnings.

What the page produces from the current inputs

The working calendar builds a civil month grid, assigns a weather-lore prompt to each active day, marks the dominant observation cue and keeps the place, hemisphere, climate lens, lead days and notes visible on the printable sheet.

  • Month length, weekday placement and outside-month filler cells are calculated from Gregorian dates.
  • Prompt rotation uses day-of-year, weekday and the selected climate lens, so the same inputs recreate the same sheet.
  • The highlighted cue count helps the user see which kind of observation dominates the month.

Method

The calendar assigns folklore prompts from date rules, not from weather prediction

The tool builds a Gregorian month grid, applies the selected week start, labels a season from the chosen hemisphere, and rotates documented weather-lore themes by day-of-year, climate lens and weekday. The output is a printable observation plan, not a forecast.

What is calculated

Calendar dates, weekdays, day-of-year values, observation lead dates, seasonal labels and category totals are calculated mechanically.

Print path

The print button opens browser print. The print stylesheet keeps the month sheet, legend, notes, assumptions and no-forecast boundary.

Limits

Weather lore is cultural and observational. Use meteorological forecasts, warnings and local climate data for real decisions.
