Assumptions

7 Monday-start weeks are shown. Countdowns use local civil midnights in the browser. Task due dates are calculated by subtracting lead days from departure. Itinerary dates are user-entered and are not verified against airlines, hotels or borders.

Visibility Check

4 task dates and 4 itinerary rows land inside the printed weeks. Extend the week count if early lead-time tasks are missing.

Notes and Limits

Confirm all flight times, check-in windows, visas, passport validity, vaccinations, travel advisories, insurance, local transport and accommodation details with official providers before travel.

Method

The page counts local Gregorian days to departure and maps prep work onto visible weeks

The tool starts from the selected planning date, snaps to a Monday-start week, counts local calendar days to the departure date, then places itinerary rows and milestone lead times into the printable countdown grid.

Input rows

Itinerary rows use title, date, time, place and note. Task rows use task, lead days before departure, owner, status and note.

Print path

The print button opens browser print. The print stylesheet keeps the trip header, countdown summary, itinerary, weekly grid, assumptions, handoff notes and limits.

Limits

This is a planning worksheet, not visa, legal, medical, airline, weather, safety, border, insurance or professional travel advice.

Source Notes

The factual layer is local date arithmetic and user-entered trip data

CalculationTime uses browser Date objects for local Gregorian date stepping, HTML date inputs for YYYY-MM-DD values and visible counts for days remaining, itinerary rows and lead-time tasks. Flight schedules, check-in rules, passports, visas, insurance and transport conditions are user-entered or must be confirmed with authoritative providers.
