- 38
- Closures

Method
Weekends are closed. Typed closure dates are excluded. Settlement samples add 2 later trading day(s), skipping weekends and typed closures.
Review Marks
Every 5th open trading day is marked for rebalance, statement review or operations checks.
Limits
Replace placeholder closures with the official calendar for your exchange, broker and product before relying on this schedule.
Method
The calendar counts weekdays, subtracts typed closures and marks trading-day cadence
The worksheet starts from the Monday containing the selected first date, treats Saturday and Sunday as closed, excludes user-entered closure dates, numbers the remaining open weekdays and adds sample settlement markers by counting later open trading days.
Closures stay explicit
Exchange holidays, half days and product-specific no-trade dates are not bundled. The user-entered closure list is printed with the result boundary.
Print path
The print button opens browser print. The print stylesheet keeps the title, counts, week grid, settlement samples, assumptions and limits.
Limits
This is planning arithmetic, not financial advice, a broker instruction, an official exchange calendar, tax guidance or settlement compliance.
Source Notes
Civil dates, local browser calendars and typed market closures
CalculationTime uses browser Date objects for local Gregorian date stepping and HTML date inputs for YYYY-MM-DD values. Settlement labels use a simple T+N trading-day convention over the visible typed calendar. Official exchange holidays, early closes, daylight-saving cut-offs, broker settlement rules and instrument calendars must be checked against primary sources.
