Method

The page turns one civil date into a compact time context sheet

The tool parses the selected YYYY-MM-DD date as a local civil date, calculates Gregorian ordinal position, ISO week number, quarter position, Unix day index and progress percentages, then adds an Astronomy Engine lunar marker and a seasonal marker as clearly bounded context.

Date arithmetic

Day counts use proleptic Gregorian browser Date arithmetic at UTC noon to avoid midnight boundary surprises in the visible calendar math.

The print button opens browser print. The print stylesheet keeps the fact card, month grid, date sequence, assumptions, limits and notes while hiding controls.
