Assumptions

3 participant time zones. 45 minute meetings plus 15 minute buffer. 5 selected weekdays per normal week. UTC offset math uses fixed offsets, not daylight-saving transition rules.

Printed Notes

Confirm daylight saving, public holidays, travel, school pickups and executive holds before sending invitations.

This is fixed UTC-offset arithmetic. Confirm daylight saving, local holidays, fatigue rules, employment policy and attendee authority separately.

Method

Local availability is intersected after UTC conversion

Each participant row records a name, fixed UTC offset and local availability window. The planner converts those windows to UTC minutes, intersects the overlap, removes closed weekdays and blackout dates, then divides the remaining time by meeting length plus buffer.

Formula

Participant UTC window = local start/end minus fixed UTC offset. Shared window = latest UTC start to earliest UTC end.
