Palindrome dates

Reads the same forward and backward in the selected numeric format. The selected date format is part of the rule, so a date can match in one format and not in another.

DateWeekdayPatternDayNote

No matching dates found in the scanned range.

Notes

Use this sheet to spot memorable booking dates, campaign dates, wedding shortlist dates or novelty date patterns before checking availability.

Assumptions

Dates are scanned inclusively at local noon from the earlier selected date to the later selected date, capped at 3,660 days per report.

Limits

Pattern matches are numeric date-format matches only. They do not imply cultural, legal, astrological or availability significance.

Method

Patterns are tested against numeric date strings

The finder walks the selected inclusive date range with local-noon JavaScript Date objects, converts each date into the selected numeric format, then applies the chosen pattern test to that formatted string.

Format matters

A date can be a palindrome in YYYY-MM-DD and not in DD/MM/YYYY. The report prints the active format beside every match.

Print path

The print button opens browser print. The print stylesheet keeps the report header, results, notes, assumptions and limits.

Limits

Pattern matches are novelty and planning signals only. They do not claim legal, cultural, astrological or availability meaning.

Date arithmetic and format basis

CalculationTime uses browser Date objects for local Gregorian date stepping and ISO 8601-style YYYY-MM-DD values for form inputs. AU and US numeric formats are display rules applied to the same local civil dates.
