Method
The duration is counted one civil date at a time
The page normalises selected dates to local noon, sorts reversed ranges automatically, and walks the span one Gregorian calendar date at a time. Inclusive mode counts both the start and finish dates; exclusive mode leaves the start date out while preserving the finish date as the target.
What the answer means
Total days counts calendar dates in the selected convention. Nights are the elapsed midnights between the start and finish dates.
Workday boundary
Weekends are Saturday and Sunday. Blackout dates are user-entered exclusions, not official public holidays or legal deadlines.
Print path
The print button opens browser print. The report keeps the date inputs, totals, month grids, milestones, blackout dates, notes and assumptions.
Source Notes
Civil-date arithmetic uses browser date objects
CalculationTime uses browser JavaScript Date objects at local noon for Gregorian date stepping and HTML date inputs for YYYY-MM-DD entry. The page is built for planning and audit records, not for timezone scheduling, court deadlines, statutory limitation periods, payroll cut-offs or public-holiday law.
