CLS = sum((duration hours * (event load + energy tag weight + circadian mismatch)) * circadian multiplier + buffer minutes / 45) / day capacity.

Recovery rule

At 85% or higher the tool recommends protecting the next morning. Between 68% and 84% it recommends adding recovery before accepting more work.

The safe static-site integration is a downloadable calendar file. A future Google Calendar sync should use server-side OAuth, keep tokens off public pages, treat multi-attendee meetings as fixed anchors, and ask for review before patching real events.

Elastic calendar

Fixed anchors should bend flexible work, not hide the collision

This model treats meetings as anchors and tasks as elastic blocks. When an anchor overruns or an emergency lands in the middle of the day, flexible work compresses until it hits a useful minimum; after that it moves to tomorrow instead of pretending the day still fits.

The first anchor expands to 12:15, so System Architecture and Review compress to preserve the afternoon anchors.

Incident

A fixed one-hour interruption lands at 1 pm. When useful space runs out, Review moves to Tomorrow First instead of being squeezed into nonsense.

Reset

The day returns to nominal durations so the strain gauge falls back to zero and the overflow tray empties.

Method

The calendar turns a flat day into weighted work bands

ChronoFlow starts with ordinary Gregorian clock time, then overlays editable planning assumptions: circadian work bands, event type, energy tag, duration, context switching and physical transitions. The result is a transparent planning score, not a medical measurement.

Limit

Human energy varies. Shift work, sleep debt, health, medication, stress, disability, caregiving and personal rhythm can all change the right settings.
