Method

Moon phase uses Astronomy Engine lunar elongation at local noon. Solar noon uses Astronomy Engine SearchHourAngle(Sun, 0) for the selected coordinates.

Assumptions

The month uses civil UTC date arithmetic, a fixed time-zone offset and broad hemisphere sky themes. It does not model live ephemerides or local horizon altitude.

Notes

Verify current ephemeris, moonrise, weather, twilight and site access before treating any row as an observing commitment.

Method

The sheet combines civil dates, lunar phase and apparent solar noon into one planning almanac

The almanac uses browser civil-date arithmetic, Astronomy Engine lunar elongation, a fixed UTC offset and Astronomy Engine SearchHourAngle(Sun, 0) for solar noon. It is built for printable planning, source checking and field preparation, not for official ephemeris publication.

Almanac basis

Moon labels are phase bands from Astronomy Engine at local noon. Solar noon is the engine-computed Sun meridian crossing for the entered coordinates and fixed time-zone offset. Sky themes are broad seasonal prompts by hemisphere.

Limits

This is an educational planning almanac, not a navigation almanac, legal schedule, telescope pointing tool, weather forecast, safety plan or official observatory publication.
